Eco-conference: Sustainable development and ESG in the fight against climate change - a challenge and an opportunity for busines

The second edition of the eco-conference called "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ESG IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE - CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITY FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT" has ended. The event took place on October 20, 2023 in Rzeszów, and was organized by METKOM under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Rzeszów.

Last Friday, 17 experts and practitioners, including President Marta Półtorak, spoke at the University of Rzeszów's auditorium. She presented CO2 emission reductions on the example of solutions used in the plastic products industry. Her presentation was extremely valuable and brought a new look at ways to reduce CO2 emissions in this industry.

Over 150 conference participants participated in presentations and discussions during which the key challenges we face in the short and long term were discussed. Experts provided valuable information on climate change, legal aspects and various perspectives and activities in business related to sustainable development.
