Vapour-permeable membranes (MWK)

The roofing membranes DACHVENT are used as initial roofing material for inclined roofs. They prevent penetration of rain and snow into thermal insulation and roof structure.

They protect from condensate forming under primary roofing. Additionally, thanks to high-vapour permeability, they keep the entire roof dry, which is of particular importance for energy savings in biuldings.

Advantages:

  • high and uniform vapour permeability,
  • high elasticy and lighweight to facilitate instalation,
  • water proof, seal the roof,
  • very high mechanical durability,
  • very high resistance to UV radiation,
  • wide product range to facilitate the choice of a proper membrane,
  • complete information available for proper installation.

* According to laboratory studies conducted under artificial aging, this period is based on average annual UV exposure from sunlight in Central Europe.
** The recommended period for the membrane to remain on the roof without primary covering should be as short as possible, depending on the membrane’s construction.
