This is a roofing underlay membrane made of three polypropylene (PP) layers, combining very high vapor permeability with high mechanical strength. The functional film is protected from below by a specially selected needle-punched nonwoven fabric, which acts as a buffer layer to facilitate the flow of water vapor. Thanks to this, Ekran Włochaty 200 allows water vapor to pass through more efficiently when the membrane's temperature rises.
Ekran Włochaty 200 can be used as:
- an initial layer sealing roofing covers;
- a protective and spacing layer for thermal insulation under roof coverings laid on sheathing;
- a seal for roof coverings laid directly on the sheathing;
- a seal for "above-rafter" thermal insulation boards, such as PIR or PUR;
- a wind barrier (an air-tight layer) in frame walls with wooden or metal construction;
- a seal and protective layer for thermal insulation in wooden and concrete ceilings.
